              Open/Closed Status of FWC Offices, Facilities, and Managed Areas

              Below is a list of FWC-managed areas and facilities, including wildlife management areas, fish management areas, shooting ranges and regional offices. If an area, in part or all, has been closed due to storm activity/other natural occurrences or for repairs/renovations, it will be noted next to the area's listing. If nothing is noted next to the name of the area, it is open.

              If an area, in part or all, has been closed due to storm activity/other natural occurrences or for repairs/renovations, it will be noted next to the area's listing. If nothing is noted next to the name of the area, it is open.

              Camping Notices: Some WMAs do not offer camping opportunities and others allow camping only during certain times of the year. In addition to checking an area’s open/closed status, please also review the WMA regulations brochure for information about camping. Also, campgrounds with restroom facilities that don't have running water (such as portable toilets and vault toilets) may not be stocked with hand hygiene products. Visitors should bring their own hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol for use in these facilities.

              • A-1 FEB PSGHA?-?Due to construction work, the north levee and northern half of the west levee will be closed to all public access until further notice. All boat ramps and parking areas will remain open to the public, but vehicle traffic will be directed to the eastern levee from the designated entrance.

The Off-Road Vehicle office has returned to normal hours of operation but is accessible to the public by appointment only until further notice.               • C-23/24 Reservoir PSGHA - Due to construction work, the South Florida Water Management District, has closed the northernmost parcel (off Summerlin?Road) to all public access until further notice.

              • Dinner Island?Ranch?-Due to flood damage caused by Tropical Storm Eta, certain portions of area trails and roads may be closed to public access.

              • Dupuis Dove Field PSGHA
              • Everglades and?Francis?S.?Taylor?-?Public access, including vehicles, airboats, ATVs, and all other public access, is restricted due to high water levels. See this news release for more information, including exceptions to this closure. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has closed boat ramps along I-75 for safety reasons due to high water.?Broward County has closed Everglades Holiday Park boat ramps and parking lot for safety reasons due to high water. These closures are in effect until further notice.

Campgrounds/hunt camps will be closed through Monday Nov. 16, 2020.?

              • Palm Beach County Shooting Sports Park?- Open with limited access to rifle and handgun ranges?by appointment only?Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment only. To make a reservation, please call?561-512-0285 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. This facility will operate at 50% capacity with a one-hour time limit per participant and only one person per lane is allowed.
